'07 Toyota RAV4

The compact SUV 2007 Toyota RAV4 has an additional third row with kid-size seats. It is comfortable and roomier from inside. It has additional air bags on the side of front seat and airbags for all the rows.

There are side curtain air bags too for torso protection. For entertainment, JBL audio system is optional, the controls of which are mounted on the steering wheel. It offers the option of Bluetooth Connectivity.

The wheelbase of 2007 Toyota RAV4 has increased by 7 inches and overall it measures 24 inches longer. It has a 2.4 liter 4-cyl engine and offers 3.5 liter V6 as an option, which produces 269 hp. The base model has 16 inch steel wheels and 18 inch wheels in Sports model.

It has front seat side airbags and full length curtain airbags and has better traction control, anti-skid. 2007 RAV4 comes equipped with anti-lock disc brakes. The ride is good with a quick steering and better suspension.

2006 Toyota RAV4

The 2006 Toyota RAV4 is a small and capable SUV that is even better than its predecessors.

It has a V6 engine and measures 3.2 inches wider and 14 inches longer; the wheelbase is 6.7 inches longer. It is available in three trims: Base, Limited and Sports. Third row seating is optional in the RAV4 and has enough leg room and head room. The second row can be reclined and foldable.

The 2006 Toyota RAV4 comes with a 2.4 liter inline four engine which produces 164 hp. A better option is to have a 3.5 liter V6 for a smoother ride, which produces 269 hp. It is a front wheel drive with an optional all-wheel drive.

The latter has a rear differential rather than the central. Traction control, anti-skid and anti lock brake system are standard features. Hill descent control is a standard on the V6 models.
